Drama

Our wonderful new Performance Centre is definitely state of the art and will enable our students to prepare and present work in a professional 21st Century setting.
— Drama Teacher, Ms Nadene Flick

Drama is an art form that explores the world through enactment. It is a collaborative art form that involves the creative interaction of individuals using a range of artistic skills. In Drama we study Making, Performing and Appreciating Drama, developing skills in acting using voice, movement and gesture, and using the stage space through lighting, sound and set design. We learn about the history of theatre from its roots in storytelling and explore modern plays, through practical work, as vehicles to express individual ideas and change social attitudes. Drama is an exciting subject that unites both academic and practical learning into a fun, challenging and confidence building experience.
